Take a free guided walking tour of this once independent town, and get acquainted with the stories behind the buildings and places that have had significant meaning to the history of Zeelst.

Learn about the archaeological finds from the Merovingian and Carolingian period to the 19th-century industrialization, or discover the lords of this area and their place of residence, the churches of the past and present, the backgrounds of special buildings from the 20th century, and the events which took place here in World War II. Much of the past glory has disappeared, but Zeelst comes back to life during carnival and the annual fair in August when thousands of people visit the village. It is also quite the scene when one of the local sport clubs has another championship to celebrate!
